Kanye West finally release the visuals to his highly-anticipated song “All Of The Lights,” which is from his internationally acclaimed fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The video features appearances from G.O.O.D. Music signee Kid Cudi and Grammy-award winning singer Rihanna; although, the studio version of the song features vocals from Fergie, Charlie Wilson, John Legend, Tony Williams, Alicia Keys, La Roux, The Dream, Ryan Leslie, Alvin Fields and Ken Lewis.
Frankly, I’m not impressed. Hype Williams has dropped the ball yet again. The minute-long introduction was too lengthy, the close-up dimensions were weird and the typography was excessive. Cudi’s appearance in the video was unnecessary, along with the extreme overuse of flashing gifs. The most exciting thing about this video was Rihanna’s side boob.
Expect a statement from Enter The Void director, Gaspar Noé, as soon as he sees the video.
